Fear TWD 606 will feature the return of several fan favorites
Fear TWD 606 will see the return of Luciana, Sarah and Wes after a long absence
Thanks to the pandemic in real life and a time jump of just about a year on the show, it feels like it has been forever and a day since fans have seen some of their favorite characters. In Fear TWD season 6 episode 6, titled “Bury Her Next to Jasper’s Leg,” three fan favorites will return.
Fear the Walking Dead’s sixth season has been pure fire, with every episode being just as good – if not better – than the previous episode. The season has been building toward something big as members of the group struggle to survive under Virginia’s control. After seeing John Dorie’s internal struggle in “The Key” there have been many fans wondering if other members of the group have had similar struggles.
Episode 606 offers a few answers.
According to the preview of the episode, “Bury Her Next to Jasper’s Leg” will feature the return of Luciana, Sarah and Wes. Luciana is still at Tank Town (she’s covered in oil), Sarah is with June and Wes doesn’t seem to be in a good spot at all.
Though things look very tense, it’s good to see some familiar faces after all this time.
Poor Luciana has been at Tank Town after agreeing to go with Virginia as part of a trade. She must be very good at her job (we know Luciana is incredibly resourceful after seeing her in action at La Colonia) because she’s still at Tank Town all of these months later. That actually says a lot about Virginia’s opinion of her, because even though it’s hard work and it’s anything but glamorous, refining the fuel is a key component of their survival and Luciana seems to be in charge of it all.
(But seriously, can we talk about how poor Danay Garcia – one of the most stunning human beings on the planet – always manages to be covered in goop, gore and grime every season?)
Sarah is with June and it looks like they have been together for a while, judging by the way they work so well together. That means we’ll have some of Sarah’s wisecracking humor to help us through the darkness, and that’s always a good thing. We know even less about Wes’ situation because he only appears briefly in the preview and it’s hard to tell where he is or what’s happening.
It’s nice to see some familiar faces in Fear TWD 606 as we race toward the premature mid-season finale on November 22 with episode 607. Of course, seeing everyone together always means more people we care about are at risk….
Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9pm on AMC.
