2) The Civic Republic Military’s Virginia Outpost

One of the few non-Huck related things we learned in this week’s episode of World Beyond might have been one of the most interesting.

After a little sleuthing, the group realized that the CRM used coded maps to navigate between their supply depots across the U.S.. According to the portion of the map that we see, the CRM has outposts in central and southern Illinois, southeastern Indiana, northwestern (Perhaps near Toledo?) and southeastern Ohio, central Kentucky, northwestern and southeastern (Near Philly?) Pennsylvania, southwestern West Virginia, and, most notably…northern Virginia.

Now, what’s in northern Virginia that might be close to that outpost…?

OH YEAH! ALEXANDRIA!

Apparently, the Civic Republic Military has a supply depot that can’t be that far from the Alexandria Safe Zone, which is fairly surprising that no one in The Walking Dead has come upon it yet, or maybe…they already have.

Over seasons seven through nine of TWD, we learned that Anne (a.k.a. Jadis) had a relationship with the CRM, giving them people in exchange for supplies, a relationship that she uses to save Rick’s life after he’s grievously wounded trying to stop a herd from devastating a shared construction site of the five communities.

With this, the fact the spot on the map is not quite at Alexandria, and the fact that (According to Tony and Percy, anyway) all CRM depots seem equipped with landing pads, I think it’s a safe bet that the reason Jadis had a relationship with the CRM in the first place is because their supply depot may have been near or even at the junkyard the Scavengers used as their home. If nothing else, the map at least confirms that their visits to the junkyard were not at random.
