FearTWD, Survival Rule Of The Week: The devil you don’t know

3) War Makes Strange Bedfellows
There’s an old saying that “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”, and, depending on your circumstances in a zombie apocalypse, that can indeed hold true.
Because, if you’re already dealing with a group of hostiles, and discover that another, worse group of hostiles is also in the area, it’s entirely possible that your original enemies may decide they’d rather deal with you, even if contentiously, than the newcomers, who have likely made clear just how much worse they are.
Groups bent more on conquest, control, or greed are likely to not enjoy the presence of those more devoted to destruction and death. Even if the former are miserable bastards, they’re far more likely to side with you against the latter because they still want people and places to rule over or extort, which can’t happen if the communities have been razed and their occupants slaughtered.
This means you may discover that a group that has been terrorizing, threatening, or extorting you, a group you may have been fighting against for weeks, maybe even months, a group who may have even killed some of your members or vice versa…may be the only ally you have against a force of people out to exterminate you both.
In such a circumstance, you and your enemies are going to have to put your differences aside, and realize that, as much as you may hate each other, your feud means nothing to people outside of it, especially if those people are bloodthirsty, insane, warped, or depraved, because they’ll just kill you both.
