Video: Silas’ past comes into focus on The Walking Dead: World Beyond
Silas has a flashback in this clip from The Walking Dead: World Beyond
The Walking Dead: World Beyond has done a good job hinting at Silas coming from a troubled past, and in this week’s all-new episode, “The Sky is a Graveyard,” his past comes into sharper focus. In this exclusive clip provided to Undead Walking by AMC, we see Silas at a moment in his past, and things do not look good for the young man.
From the very start of World Beyond, Silas has been an outsider. He finally found a group of friends with Iris and Hope, who welcomed him into their circles with open arms. Elton is also very fond of him. Silas has become very protective of his friends, supporting their decisions when Felix and Huck try to convince them to turn around.
Percy’s arrival triggered something in Silas, who clearly likes Iris as more than a friend. Silas first became aware of Iris while he was cleaning her father’s lab. He picked up a drawing she did and kept it, and in the abandoned high school the two of them shared some very touching moments.
When Percy starts making his feelings for Iris known, Silas becomes more and more upset about it. At the end of episode 107 he is found covered in blood next to Tony’s beaten and bloodied corpse, with Percy nowhere in sight.
This clip reveals a look at Silas in the past, presumably in the moments leading up to whatever landed him in an ambulance in earlier flashbacks with blood on his hands.
There’s clearly much more to Silas and his story than we know. It’s hard to believe he’d be capable of doing anything close to resembling what happened to Tony, but we don’t know anything for sure just yet.
Tune in to The Walking Dead: World Beyond to learn more about Silas and his past on Sunday, November 22 at 9pm ET on AMC.
