Walking Dead Alum Matt Lintz has been cast in Marvel’s Ms. Marvel series

Fans of The Walking Dead mourned the loss of Matt Lintz’s character Henry due to his death’s horrific nature. And, not only because of the trauma fans experienced because of the pike scene but also for what it did to his mother Carol (Melissa McBride). Now Lintz has been cast in a new Marvel series, Ms. Marvel.

First look photos of the movie were released this week, announcing that newcomer Iman Vellani would play the main character, Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. Lintz was also featured in the photos, and Muphy’s Universe reported that the familiar nature of the photos leads them to believe he will play Kamala’s close confidant Bruno Carrelli.

Bruno is one of the only people to know about the secret of Kamala’s alter ego, Ms. Marvel, and the powers she possesses. She is inspired by the heroics of Captain Marvel and aspires to be like her. Bruno, a brilliant guy with an extremely high IQ, is an asset to her when she is fighting crime.

Lintz played Henry on The Walking Dead from season seven until his death in season nine. He started as a young child who annoyed Carol but eventually became her son. He learned many great survival and fighting skills as he aged, and his death was a shock to fans.

He also played the part of Stevie Taggert in The Alienist. Taggert was one of the teens housed at  Kreizler Institute who was saved from a troubled childhood.

Congrats to Lintz on his role in Ms. Marvel.

It is exciting to see Lintz get this role in the Marvel universe. It will be a good step for him to gain more attention and possibly acquire more future projects. Keep watching Undead Walking for more information on Lintz.
