The Walking Dead Skybound account have given fans a new Thanksgiving picture to enjoy and obsess over

One of the delightful things Johnny O’Dell from The Walking Dead Skybound account did last year was post a wonderful Thanksgiving edit that had fans obsessing over for fun.  So much time spent theorizing, decoding and searching for clues helped keep fans actively engaged during the holiday season.

This year’s edit is another exciting look at what could possibly come in the future,  includes characters from all three TWD shows and a nod to the as yet unnamed Carol and Daryl spin-off.

What makes these types of edits so enjoyable is trying to figure out who everyone is and what it could mean. There are obvious things like Carol reading a paper with the spin-off news, Eugene’s group off in the distance as well as Connie alone and separated from the group. Maggie, Hershel Jr and Elijah make an appearance at the table (love Hershel Jr wearing a baseball cap like his dad). We also see Judith and RJ being the adorable cuties they are.

The added touches of some of the Fear the Walking Dead characters such as Morgan, Alicia, Victor and Ginny and the helicopters in what I assume is a nod to World Beyond is a nice way to bring the “family” together.

I do have a few questions though. Who is the shadowy rider in the distance to the left of Gabriel? (Virgil? John Dorie? Could it be Rick? ) Does the mask below Carol represent Alpha or another “mask” Carol will wear? I can’t quite make out who is standing between Alicia and Victor and I am very curious about who it is.

Next. 10 years of Carol and Daryl on The Walking Dead. dark

Am I overthinking the whole thing? Probably, but with the way 2020 has been going this is a nice diversion. I want to give a huge “thank you” to Johnny for giving us this treat and I’m looking forward to hearing others theories about the picture.

Happy Thanksgiving from our homes to yours.
