16) Silas is the first member of The Endlings to see his dad turn, as Elton had been hiding in a crate when his dad turned (And his dad had been put down before Elton could see him as an empty), and Felix couldn’t bring himself to put his dad down.

17) As Silas attempts to get away from his dad’s empty, he tries to escape through the window, but, it’s barred, similar to the door to Dr. K’s apartment (Seen in the first episode, “Brave”), and, likely for the same reason…though, it clearly makes fleeing from an empty in one’s house rather problematic.

18) Silas recalling his dad demonstrating to him what concerts were like back when he was a kid is his fifth and final “flashback within a flashback”.

19) Silas’s mom’s reaction to seeing Silas put down his father’s empty (Telling him to “Stay back”), explains why, back in episode three, “The Tyger And The Lamb”, Silas told Iris he didn’t miss his mother that much. Man, that episode has gotten a lot of callbacks in this one.

20) After recalling his mother’s reaction to him putting his father’s empty down, Silas stops trying to free himself from the swing set as an empty crawls towards him. Was he going to let it bite him had Hope not arrived? It certainly looked that way…
