5. Silent Night, Zombie Night (2011)

So, there aren’t a lot of good zombie movies set at Christmas. And this one isn’t that great either. The Walking Dead fans used to great makeup and special effects aren’t going to be impressed by this movie, which looks like it was filmed on an iPhone 4 at times.

However, if you’re a big fan of B-movies and over-the-top acting, this might be a great one to put on the TV and just have a good time with. You’re not going to get lost in the plot or learn to love any of the characters, but if you take it at face value, you might just have fun.

Silent Night, Zombie Night is a zombie movie that is set in Los Angeles and focuses on a police officer who is struggling with both his partner as well as his wife at home. He ends up trapped with these individuals when the zombie apocalypse breaks out.

Of course, there is some tension there, but not enough to drive the plot forward in a genuine way. If not for the Christmas-themed environment around them, this would likely be a movie that never gets mentioned among zombie fans.
