1. Anna and the Apocalypse (2017)

The promotion leading up to the release of Anna and the Apocalypse was a bit offputting. It tried to appeal to fans of musicals, comedies, horror movies, and teenage drama while not effectively drawing in any of those audiences.

However, it’s hard to argue with the results of the movie. It is a very enjoyable trip through the zombie apocalypse that offers a little bit of everything this holiday season including a great assortment of the undead for fans of The Walking Dead to enjoy.

Be warned though, the musical bits are all over-the-top performances but fit nicely into the storyline so most people shouldn’t mind them too much. Plus, many of those songs are based on the relationship between the survivors during the initial stages of the apocalypse and how it all relates to their high school.

As of this publishing, there isn’t a better, more polished zombie movie based on the Christmas season than Anna and the Apocalypse. It is highly recommended to check this out if you’re hungry for a great zombie movie this holiday season.
