Check out The Mandalorian while you wait for The Walking Dead season 10C

With The Walking Dead universe on a bit of a hiatus at the moment, fans are probably desperate to find other TV shows to hold them over until the show returns with season 10C in February. Luckily for TWDFamily, Disney+ has the perfect show to check out while you wait until the hit zombie show comes back: The Mandalorian.

The Mandalorian is the first live-action show to take place in the Star Wars universe and follows bounty hunter Din Djarin on his adventures around the galaxy with the Child – affectionately known to many as Baby Yoda.

The show is full of intense action sequences that look like they could be featured in a blockbuster film. Walking Dead fans will feel right at home watching the Mandalorian battle raiders, pirates, and other enemies with his blaster.

There is plenty of drama along the way too, of course, as the Mandalorian makes new friends and enemies during his journey, all while grappling with his identity and role as a member of the Mandalorian society.

And just like The Walking Dead, there are plenty of heartwarming and adorable moments to provide some levity from the intense action and drama. Just like Judith and RJ Grimes make us smile when they do something adorable, Baby Yoda provides lots of funny and cute scenes that will make you an instant fan.

The Mandalorian is unique from other sci-fi shows in that it has a very Western vibe to it, which is something that will likely please Walking Dead fans. Star Wars is known for its grand battles with lightsabers and the mystical Force, and while there are hints of that in the show, The Mandalorian focuses more on the life of a “regular” person in a galaxy far, far away. The Walking Dead is such a success because it focuses on regular people working together to survive no matter what, so The Mandalorian‘s grounded approach will feel comfortable for TWD fans.

With season two coming to a close soon, there is no better time to binge-watch The Mandalorian. If you can watch fast enough, you’ll be just in time to talk about the season two finale with everyone on social media.
