Fear the Walking Dead holiday: What to put in Alicia’s stocking
If Fear the Walking Dead characters received stockings, what would Santa give Alicia?
It’s hard to carry over traditions from before the apocalypse into the post-apocalyptic world of Fear the Walking Dead. Though the holidays might be remembered by those who experienced them, it doesn’t mean we can’t have fun thinking up ways to mix holiday traditions and Fear TWD. So if Santa was going to give a Christmas stocking to Alicia Clark, what would be in it?
Butterfly Knife
Now that Alicia is on her own, watching over Charlie and heading to Morgan’s sanctuary, she needs to get back to protecting herself and the people around her. Sure, her pipe is great but we all know Alicia has some mad knife skills (as actress Alycia Debnam-Carey showed fans during an appearance on Talking Dead), and she should get back to her old ways as a means to honor the past and move toward the future.
A Trusted Confidant
Prior to the events of season 6’s “Welcome to the Club”, Alicia and Strand were on the same team. Now, things are blurry after Strand seemed to abandon Alicia while he reaped the benefits of being one of Virginia’s right hand men.
With Strand out of the picture, Alicia needs a trusted confidant. Charlie is like a protege, learning how to fight walkers and survive with Alicia as her teacher. They’re a good team but Alicia needs someone that she can lean on for support when she needs it.
Maybe Santa can put someone in her life – or put someone back (ahem, Wes!) – so that she can have someone to help her when things get rough.
A Break
It’s easy to forget how quickly things have been moving over the past few seasons. It hasn’t been all that long since she lost her mom and brother, and after so much loss and trauma Alicia deserves a break. Could Morgan’s sanctuary be a place where she can take a breath and relax, even if it’s just for a brief moment? (We all know breaks are hard to come by in the apocalypse)

If anyone deserves a break, it’s Alicia. Maybe Santa can help line things up so she can take a minute once she arrives at Morgan’s sanctuary.
