Fear The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week: What to do next
By Liam O'Leary
1) Trust Your Instincts
Like I said last week, when a zombie outbreak begins, you’ll start seeing things that…don’t feel right. Don’t ignore those feelings.
If you watch the second episode of Fear The Walking Dead, Chris Manawa hears about a commotion surrounding the LAPD killing a homeless man (Who was, in fact, infected), and, like everyone on the bus with him, goes outside to see what’s going on.
As Chris approaches the scene (Be forewarned, I’m going to mention this whole scenario a lot this week…), he seems to be the only one who notices that one of the cops at the scene is getting a bite wound patched up.
The fact he seemed to be the only one who did notice that, makes it seem like it was something that, on some level, he knew was out of place and unusual.
When a zombie outbreak begins, and you start seeing things like a sudden influx in people suffering bites from other people, blood appearing in places it really shouldn’t, unresponsive people lurching around, you’ll probably feel like you’re in danger. You will be correct.
That will be your cue to get away from wherever you saw those things as fast as you can. The sooner you do that, the better your chances of surviving the upcoming apocalypse will be.
Our instincts are there to keep us alive. Trust them.
