What New Year’s resolutions should Felix make on The Walking Dead: World Beyond?

The Walking Dead: World Beyond debuted in 2020 and made an immediate impact on the mythology of the greater TWD Universe. One of the standout characters from the new series is Felix, the head of security for the ill-fated Campus Colony played to perfection by Nico Tortorella. Fans can’t get enough of Felix, so what New Year’s resolutions should Felix make to help ensure that he makes it through season 2?

Tortorella has been very vocal about wanting to stay alive in the TWD Universe in hopes of continuing Felix’s journey beyond World Beyond’s planned two seasons. At the end of the first season, Felix and Iris had been separated from Hope by CRM and left to their own devices but a chance encounter with Felix’s partner Will changed everything.

If Felix and the people he cares about are going to make it in season 2, here’s what he needs to add to his list of New Year’s resolutions:

Open His Eyes and Mind

Felix is a great head of security. There’s little doubt that he will go ballistic when he learns that the Campus Colony has been decimated by Kublek and the CRM, and this should paint a harrowing “what-if” scenario for him because all he was trying to do was convince Hope and Iris to return. Had they been there, they all could have perished.

Felix spent most of his time trying to convince the group to turn around, often ignoring things that didn’t add up in favor of making what he thought was the right decision. Now, though, all bets are off and he needs to start looking at things with a much more critical eye.

Be Wary of Huck

Huck is still a big piece of the puzzle. She did her duty and delivered Hope to CRM, but she’s not going to be happy that CRM killed everyone at Campus Colony. Despite being related to the person who gave the order, we know that Huck has been faced with killing innocent people before and didn’t stand for it.

Huck will cross paths with Felix again, and he needs to be very careful what he believes – good and bad. She might actually want to help somehow, so Felix needs to find a way to set his anger aside and listen to her in case she’s offering actual help that can be used to get Hope and Dr. Bennett back.

Keep Family Close

Now that Felix has reunited with Will, he needs to work to find Hope and Dr. Bennett. He also needs to help Elton and Silas, too. They are the last remaining members of the Campus Colony and they’re a family now. Nothing is as important as family in the apocalypse.
