What New Year’s resolutions should Hope make on The Walking Dead: World Beyond?

The Walking Dead: World Beyond debuted in 2020 and made an immediate impact on the mythology of the greater TWD Universe. Alexa Mansour’s Hope was definitely the more relatable of the Bennett sisters in a lot of ways, especially given her street smart sense of what was really happening all around them once the CRM arrived. Now that she’s been taken by the CRM, these New Year’s resolutions will help her to survive.

Play Nice…For Now

Though it might be hard to focus now that the CRM has separated Hope from her sister and her friends, refusing to cooperate won’t do Hope much good. They can always use the threat of harm against her father, her sister or her friends against her.

The benefit of “cooperating” with CRM is that they might slip up and reveal information about what their plans are, which could be used against them. If she plays her cards right, she could be in a position to learn a lot about what’s happening around her.

Keep Friends Close, and Enemies Closer

Lt. Colonel Elizabeth Kublek knew from the start that the “asset” was going to be hard to capture because she resented everything about CRM. If Hope is going to be successful, she needs to start making some connections with her CRM captors, much the way she played Huck near the end. Play along, see what they can give you and use that information to your advantage.

Don’t Lose Hope

Hope will be alone and being alone can mess with your mind. She’s going to have a very different perspective from Iris because she’s on the inside, and she will know the challenges Iris will face in trying to rescue her. Hope cannot lose faith right now. Things will seem bleak, but she can’t give up. She has to play the game and try to focus on seeing her sister and friends again.
