Mercedes Mason from Fear The Walking Dead announces pregnancy

Fear The Walking Dead will be returning to AMC sometime in 2021. Fans are anxiously awaiting news of the release date for the back half of season six of this series. The sixth season was action-packed, and many fans who were unsure about the series’s future now can’t wait for the show to continue.

Mercedes Mason, the actress who played Ofelia Salazar on the series in seasons 1-3, has some exciting news to share. She is expecting her second child with her husband, David Denman.

Mason shared the news on her Instagram page with a beautiful photo of her baby bump, stating she is five months pregnant and used the hashtag #herewegoagain. Mason and Denman have a son who will turn three this year.

Mason’s other projects include The Rookie, NCIS: Los Angeles, How to Get Away with Murder and The L Word: Generation Q.

More recently, she starred in What the Night Can Do, where she played Tasha Cole, the mother of a girl Luana, who struggles as her world falls apart. When her parents separate and her grandfather becomes ill, she finds her way with help from an unlikely source. Also starring JoBeth Williams and Stuart Margolin.

She also played Kazz Martin in Love By Drowning, an adaptation of a novel written by C.E. Poverman. Kazz is the wife of Val (Colin Egglesfield), who is haunted by a boating accident he had with his brother, Davis (Kelly Blatz). Lee Anne (Nicky Whelan) holds the key to the dangerous events surrounding the accident. Val’s memories are shrouded in guilt because of his part in the accident, and he must face the truth or lose everything, including his wife, Kazz.

You may recognize her husband as he played Roy on The Office for many years. His newest project is Mare of Easttown, an HBO series. He will play Frank, the ex-husband of Mare Sheehan (Kate Winslet), who the series is centered on. Mare is a small-town Pennsylvania detective who is investigating a local murder.

Our best wishes to the happy couple and their son with the announcement of the news of a new arrival to their family.
