Exciting announcements for fans of The Walking Dead Universe.

When 2020 was shiny and new, the Walking Dead Universe fans couldn’t have been more excited. We had so much to look forward to during the upcoming year and then…..BAM! COVID hit and ruined everything. Literally, everything, including our plans for watching all the new content that was set to release.

Now, we are in 2021, a year that holds so much promise for TWD Universe and so many other things. Can it hold up to the hype? I certainly hope so.

The Walking Dead posted a great video announcement on their Twitter page for the upcoming year, giving us a rough timeline of when things will release.

The Walking Dead 10c – 02/28

Talking Dead – 02/28

Fear The Walking Dead Season 6b – Spring 2021

World Beyond – 2021

The Walking Dead 11 – late 2021

Fear The Walking Dead season 7 – late 2021

So, wherever your loyalties lie within TWDU, there is something to look forward to.

The Walking Dead will give us season ten bonus episodes and at least some season eleven later in the year.

Fear will come back after that strong first half of season six with what should be an even better back half of the season.  As well as some of season seven.

Then the second spinoff of the group, World Beyond, will be bringing us a second season, which is scheduled to be its last as this was signed as a limited series.

Even though TWD has announced that the eleventh season will be the final for the main series, it will be sometime before it is over. The eleventh season will consist of 24 episodes. Next up, there will be a spinoff series focusing on Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). Additionally, Tales of The Walking Dead, an episodic anthology, will also be upcoming.

Fans of this franchise are die-hard and loyal to the fandom. We have a lot to look forward to in 2021 and beyond. First up, The Walking Dead on February 28 on AMC.
