Invincible created by Robert Kirkman featuring TWD cast gets release date

Fans of The Walking Dead are always on the lookout for projects that include any of TWD cast members. The animated series, Invincible, created by TWD comic creator Robert Kirkman, will also star many cast members of TWD series.
Steven Yeun voices the lead character Mark Grayson/Invincible, a young man who starts to develop superpowers after his seventeenth birthday. Yeun is joined by fellow TWD cast members Khary Payton – Black Samson, Lauren Cohan – War Woman, Chad Coleman – Martian Man, Michael Cudlitz – Red Rush, Lennie James – Darkwing, Ross Marquand – The Immortal & Aquarius and Sonequa Martin-Green – Green Ghost.
The TWD cast members will form the Guardians of the Globe, a private superhero organization founded by War Woman (Cohen) and Darkwing (James). This is exciting news for the Walking Dead fans who are anxious to see the current and former cast members in other projects.
Invincible is a comic that Kirkman created before he created The Walking Dead comic storyline. This comic follows Mark Grayson’s story, the young son of a powerful superhero who develops his own powers that begins his own superhero career.
Robert Kirkman’s Invincible will release on Amazon Prime Video.
It was announced during a live-streamed event celebrating the anniversary of Invincible’s issue 1 release that the animated series will have a release date of March 26 on Amazon Prime Video. The first three episodes will release on the premiere date, with the remaining episodes releasing each Friday thereafter. The series will consist of 8 hour-long episodes, which will mean the final episode will release on April 30. The First Look Clip below shows a good look at what viewers can expect from the series.
The star-studded cast also includes the talent of J.K. Simmons, Mark Hamill, Seth Rogan, Walton Goggins, Sandra Oh, John Hamm, Zachary Quinto, Mae Whitman, Max Burkholder, Mahershala Ali, Ezra Miller and many more.
