We only have one month left until the first of the six bonus episodes of The Walking Dead airs on AMC. Social media is full of speculation about what fans think we will see in these episodes.

Since these episodes are focused on specific characters, there are many storylines that fans would like to see. There are loose ends and backstories we all want to know more about.

The synopsis’ gives us a general idea of what each episode will entail, but the details won’t be known until the airing date. On February 28, the first episode will air on AMC. This will be followed by an episode of Talking Dead, which has also been on hiatus.

The Walking Dead will start filming for season eleven very soon. This will be the final season for the series, but that won’t be TWD Universe’s end. There will be more seasons of Fear The Walking Dead, a Carol and Daryl spinoff season, Tales of The Walking Dead anthology series and the final season of The Walking Dead World Beyond.

6 things we hope to see in The Walking Dead season 10c bonus episodes.

Where have Maggie and little Hershel been?

Maggie left Hilltop when Hershel was a baby. Many years have passed since their departure and we need to know where she’s been and what has transpired during that time. We know she corresponded via letters with the communities, but little is known about what she was doing.

We know that she went to live with Georgie and her unnamed community to find ways to rebuild this new world.  Hopefully, Maggie can bring something new back with her since Hilltop has been lost. Rebuilding will be vital.

The story of Negan and his wife, Lucille.

Father Gabriel once had a conversation with Negan about the loss of his wife, Lucille. Negan explained that she had cancer and died soon after the outbreak began. He also shared that he was unfaithful to her while she was sick. This was a sad tale that gave us a glimpse into the man Negan used to be, who really didn’t seem much different from Negan, who was the Saviors leader. Ruthless and uncaring are traits he carried with him.

It has been no secret that in Negan’s episode, we will get a look at his wife Lucille, who is played by his real wife, Hilarie Burton Morgan. We see her in the trailer with a gun, killing walkers as she holds on to her IV tower, reminding us of her condition.

It will be an interesting storyline to see how Negan became the barbed wire bat-wielding villain.

Do Aaron and Gabriel make it out alive?

In the episode “One More,” Aaron and Gabriel are out on a supply run, and they encounter a new person, Mays (Robert Patrick). This man doesn’t seem to be very friendly and in the table read of the episode, Aaron is missing from the warehouse that he and Gabriel took shelter in.

These two characters are ones who haven’t been given the storylines they deserve. Either one of these men would make excellent leaders of our group. I hope we see a positive outcome from this episode.

Is there still strife between Carol and Daryl?

There are two Carol and Daryl episodes, one where Daryl looks back at his time in isolation while searching for Rick. Another sees the two go off in their own directions. Is this due to complications in their relationship? Or has the past come forward to greet them with things they aren’t ready to face?

Since we know there will be a spinoff series featuring these two characters, and eventually, common ground will take place, but in the meantime, will we see more animosity between them?

Can Maggie ever forgive Negan?

Maggie has the difficult job of raising a child in this terrible world while at the same time keeping the memory of her husband Glenn alive in her child’s mind.

All this is compounding with the fact that Negan brutally murdered Glenn and now Maggie must face him. But, Maggie doesn’t know the new Negan. The one who infiltrated the Whisperers to save the communities. The one who killed Alpha, the one who saved Judith in the snowstorm, or the one who comforted Lydia.

I am not saying this has all redeemed him for his past because, for as many, as he has saved, he has probably killed double. Can Maggie see past her pain to forgive him?

Who captured Eugune, Ezekiel, Yumiko and Princess?

When we last saw Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Ezekiel (Khary Payton), Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura), and Princess (Paola Lázaro), they were captured by soldiers dressed in what could be uniforms of the Commonwealth. What do they want? And what fate lies ahead for these members of our group?

We know Eugene made contact with Stephanie and he was to meet up with her. Is she a part of the Commonwealth? Did she set them up? Or is this capture just a precaution to make sure this new group can trust their new captives?

There is so much to unpack in these six episodes. The hope is that we can find out some answers during these episodes that will tie up some loose ends and give us some backstory.

Next. The Walking Dead: Will we get some backstory on Dog in season 10c?. dark
