Khary Payton plays our dear King Ezekiel in The Walking Dead series and does such a wonderfully theatrical portrayal of this character. He couldn’t save all his talent for TWD, so he had to spread his wings to do voice work on many different animated series.

The Walking Dead will begin filming its eleventh and final season very soon. And, on February 28, the first of the six bonus episodes will air on AMC. This means we will get to see what has become of King Ezekiel and his traveling companions Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Yumiko (‎Eleanor Matsuura) and Princess (Paola Lazaro). They were last seen being surrounded and captured by a group that many fans joked about looking like stormtroopers.

In the episode “Splinter” that will air on March 21, we will see more of what has become of Ezekiel and his group. The trailer for the bonus episodes and the table-read have given us a little insight into what will happen and it doesn’t look too good.

Season eleven of the series will consist of 24 episodes, so we have a lot more of the story to be told. There will also be an additional spinoff series focusing on Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) and Tales of the Walking Dead that will be an anthology type series. This means TWD is far from being over. It will just have a different look.

Khary Payton says goodbye to his Big Hero 6 family as the third season will be its last.

Payton posted the tweet below saying, “Thanks for letting me play for a while.” And, by a while, he means three seasons’ worth of playing. Big Hero 6: The Series is based on the Disney film Big Hero 6 that was loosely based on the comic series of the same name.

In the series, Payton voices Wasabi, a student at SFIT (San Fransokyo Institute of Technology) specializing in lasers and is a Big Hero 6 member. He is smart, slightly neurotic and enjoys order in his life.

Sadly, for Payton and the other cast members who include Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit,
Jamie Chung, Genesis Rodriguez, Brooks Wheelan and Maya Rudolph, the third season has been announced to be the final.

Another animated project that Payton is involved in is Robert Kirkman’s Invincible. He will be joined by fellow TWD cast members Steven Yeun – Mark Grayson/Invincible, Lauren Cohan – War Woman, Chad Coleman – Martian Man, Michael Cudlitz – Red Rush, Lennie James – Darkwing, Ross Marquand – The Immortal & Aquarius and Sonequa Martin-Green – Green Ghost.

This series is based on Kirkman’s comic and will be released on Amazon Prime Video on March 26.
