Fear The Walking Dead recently announced that fans will see the remainder of season six starting April 11. It was also announced that we will see something in season seven before the end of 2021.

In October 2020, Fear TWD aired seven of the eight episodes for the first part of season six. The episode that should have been the midseason finale was still in production due to COVID restrictions for production work. This episode will now be the midseason premiere.

Season six of the series has rejuvenated the show and get fans hyped for what’s to come. Many fans who wrote the show off many seasons ago have even come back to rejoin the fandom and have declared season six to be the best.

When Skybound released the promo video below with dates for each of TWD Universes’ series, it featured a clip with Fear TWD season seven coming later this year.  That is exciting news for fans of The Walking Dead spinoff series.

When will season seven of Fear The Walking Dead start filming?

The Austin American Statesman has reported news from Round Rock, Texas.  Fear TWD filmmakers from AMC have taken out a permit to film in Round Rock on Tuesday, February 2. The road closure permit is for one day of filming from 7 am to 9 pm on Chisholm Trail Road.

This is great news because it means they are in the process of filming the seventh season of the series.

Fear TWD filmed in Round Rock in its fourth season. The Dell Diamond, which is home to Round Rock Express, a Triple-A Minor League Baseball team, was used for the stadium settlement. Film crews had to turn the pristine stadium into something that would fit in an apocalyptic world. A behind the scenes video has been shared to watch how they turned this stadium into the settlement.

It was quite the feat to transform the stadium into the settlement. They had to kill the grass with chemicals; they brought in cows and goats, brought in the dirt and plants for the garden, which had to be tended each day and turned the swimming pool into the irrigation system.

What will be coming in season seven is anyone’s guess. It is just exciting to know we will get new content for season 6 and 7 this year.
