Fear The Walking Dead has announced that season six will resume on AMC on April 11. The announcement of new cast members followed this news and that Aisha Tyler has directed episode 613.

The episode that was supposed to be the midseason finale will now be the midseason premiere. Due to filming restrictions, production wasn’t complete to allow it to air in November 2020. The sixth season has rekindled the series with its intriguing and action-packed storyline.

Our group is set to take on Ginny and her Pioneers. Will this have a positive outcome, or could there be heavy losses on both sides?

Scott M. Gimple posted the new key art video stating “shocks, scares, heartbreaks and revelation” are in store when the story of season six continues.

Aisha Tyler joins TWDU to direct episode 613; what other projects has she been involved in?

Aisha Tyler has a long-running career as an actress and is no stranger to the director’s chair. She acted and directed in the series Criminal Minds. She also directed an episode on the Rosewell, New Mexico series.

One character that I fondly remember her playing is Charlie Wheeler on the hit series Friends. She played Joey’s and then Ross’s love interest over nine episodes of the ninth and tenth seasons. She was an interesting guest character who added a lot of charm to those episodes.

Tyler also had roles in Archer, XIII: The Series, Ghost Whisperer, 24 and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Next up, she is working on a movie Untitled Horror Film, a comedy-horror movie filmed remotely during lockdown.

With her diverse background in the industry, it is a welcome addition to TWDU. It is always exciting to get newcomers into TWDU whether by adding new cast or crew to give new life to the fandom.

Welcome Aisha Tyler to TWDU.
