Walking Dead Alum Elizabeth Faith Ludlow to star in new series

Elizabeth Faith Ludlow played Arat on The Walking Dead from season seven until season nine. She was a key player in Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) Saviors.

Arat was one of the female members of the Saviors. We don’t know a lot about her, but we do know she was loyal and cruel. During an altercation with Rosita, Negan instructions Arat to kill anybody of her choosing, and she kills Olivia without a second thought.

Negan’s soldiers were conditioned to follow his orders, which were often extremely brutal. Many of the Saviors seemed to relish in the brutality of it all, including Arat.

Arat was killed by Cyndie of Oceanside in revenge for her brother’s death. Arat was involved in the Savior’s raid against Oceanside when all of the men there were slaughtered. Cyndie made Arat beg for her life before killing her.

Elizabeth Faith Ludlow is cast in the Peacemaker series.

Deadline has reported that James Gunn’s HBO Max series Peacemaker has cast Ludlow in this Suicide Squad spinoff. Her character description has been kept quiet at this point.

This DC superhero series focuses on a superhero, Peacemaker, played by John Cena. This superhero wants world peace and will do anything, including killing those that get in his way.

James Gunn posted the tweet below stating he didn’t recognize Ludlow as someone he had worked with before when she auditioned. He had good reason. She was in his Guardian of the Galaxy Volume 2, and you can see why he didn’t recognize her from the photo below.

In addition to The Walking Dead and GOTG, Vol 2 Ludlow has also had parts in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, NCIS: Los Angeles and New Orleans, Equal, and plays Cas Isakovic in the series Another Life.
