Today C. Thomas Howell posted a photo of himself in front of what looks like the burnt-out windmill from Alexandria on The Walking Dead set. Does this mean he is reprising his role as a Hilltop soldier for season eleven?

Fans of Howell’s were very excited to see that he would star in an episode of The Walking Dead in season nine. The episode was “Stradivarius,” which was directed by TWD alum Michael Cudlitz and the two are reported to be good friends.

Season eleven marks the final season for the series, and fans are anxious and sad at the same time. It is always good to see new or re-cast actors for the upcoming seasons.

We didn’t see much of Howell in season nine, but maybe in season eleven, we will see him featured in a more significant role.

What other projects do you know C. Thomas Howell from?

This will date me, but I have been a fan of his since he starred in ET and The Outsiders. He played Ponyboy Curtis in The Outsiders, which was such an iconic movie. With an all-star cast including Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise and Leif Garrett, it was every 80s girl’s dream.

He has kept very busy in his long career as an actor. Other 80s films that he is known for include Tank, Red Dawn and The Hitcher. He would go on to star in many films and TV shows. His career has spanned over 40 years and he has starred in 100s of films and TV series.

The most recent projects he has in the works are the films, The Original Play James Play, The Wrong Path, Mama’s Eggnog and The Express.

He was set to enter the theater world in 2020, but the pandemic decided to put a stop to that, at least for now. Howell was set to star in a theatrical production called Worst Case Scenario, an apocalyptical romantic comedy inspired by a real-life event.

Here’s hoping we get to see C. Thomas Howell reprise his role on The Walking Dead in season eleven.
