Undead Walking Podcast Ep. 32: Previewing The Walking Dead 10C preview
In the latest episode of the Undead Walking Podcast, Adam B. Carlson joins host Sarabeth Pollock in a preview of The Walking Dead 10C preview.
The review embargo for The Walking Dead 1017 and 1018 lifts at 12:01am ET on Monday, February 15, and Sarabeth will be able to offer her thoughts on the episodes. To prepare, Adam and Sarabeth talk about what they’re hoping to see and what they have been hearing about the bonus episodes.
Kicking off the podcast is a discussion about the official beginning of the end, namely, the start of filming season 11. There’s a picture floating around from the cast and crew that features the season 11 clapperboard in front of Alexandria’s windmill, only the windmill is all burned up. We know it wasn’t burned up in season 10, so what’s up with that?
There’s also a deep conversation about what’s going on in the fandom ahead of the bonus episodes, and how that division is hard to see because it’s tearing up the fandom.

It’s hard to imagine heading into the final 30 episodes of The Walking Dead, starting with the six bonus episodes, but that’s where we are. The big question Adam and Sarabeth had in the podcast is whether or not the bonus episodes would ever have existed if not for the pandemic.
It’s an interesting question; it’s certainly possible that these stories would have appeared in season 11, but then again it feels like the stories for season 11 were already planned out. How will these episodes fit into the larger story? Now that the spoilers have been released on social media, will fans tune in? It’s hard to imagine what’s going to happen in the coming weeks.
