Fear TWD’s Garret Dillahunt set to fight more zombies in Army of the Dead

Fear The Walking Dead is scheduled to release the back half of season six on April 11 on AMC. Fans of the series are excited to see what will happen next in this action-packed season.

Garret Dillahunt, who plays John Dorie on the series, has a new project, and this one also involves an apocalyptic setting. Dillahunt will star in Zach Snyder’s Army of the Dead film that will premier on Netflix on May 21.

Army of the Dead meshes the heist and zombie genres giving it a unique theme. A group of mercenaries decides it would be the biggest heist ever to rob a Las Vegas casino. The catch, Las Vegas, has been overrun by the undead. The official trailer was released this week, and it looks awesome.

Dillahunt will star alongside Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell,Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Hiroyuki Sanada, Nora Arnezeder and Tig Notaro. With big names like these, it is bound to be an amazing film.

In addition to Fear TWD and Army of the Dead, Dillahunt has an impressive listing of past and future projects.

He is currently filming for season seven of Fear TWD, and in the past, he starred in The Guest Book, The Gifted, The Mindy Project and Justified, to name only a few.

He will star in a drama titled The Long Home based on a novel by William Gay that follows a young contractor hired to build a honky-tonk for the man who killed his father. This film has an outstanding cast, including James Franco, who also directs, and Josh Hutcherson, Timothy Hutton and Robin Lord Taylor.

Coming soon to Netflix, Dillahunt will star in Blonde, a fictionalized take on Marilyn Monroe’s life. He will star in another film, Ambulance, an action thriller about two robbers who steal an ambulance after a heist goes south.
