Ranking every season of The Walking Dead from worst to best
By Joe LaBrosse
Season 10
The show’s most recent season (technically still going on with the six additional episodes), season 10 of The Walking Dead, was a very solid, if unremarkable, season.
This season’s main arc was the Whisperer War, with the final battle occurring in the season finale. While the way the characters dealt with the aftermath of the pike massacre (namely Carol, Siddiq, and Ezekiel) was interesting and well-executed, some of the story decisions made throughout the season were a little questionable.
For example, why compound misery on characters who have already lost so much, like Lydia and Ezekiel? Or why introduce a really dynamic character in Gamma, to kill her off soon after she joins the good side?
The massive battles of The Whisperer War at both Hilltop and the abandoned hospital, the journey to reach the Commonwealth, and the development of characters like Gabriel, Kelly, and Lydia were standout parts of season 10. Still, some questionable decisions hold this season back from placing higher on the list.
