The Walking Dead fandom is vast, complex and loyal. People who are a part of this fandom may not be vested in each aspect of it, but there is common respect and friendship that forms when you find out someone else is a part of this group.

There are so many things going on within the fandom. The Walking Dead will be entering its eleventh and final season this year. Fear TWD will release the back half of its sixth season and is already filming the seventh. World Beyond is filming its second and final season. Eventually, we will be getting the Carol and Daryl spin-off and Tales of The Walking Dead anthology series.

In addition to the series, there is the comic book component, the cons, the events and the fan base that is so supportive of anything to do with TWD Universe. It is hands down the best fandom to belong to.

Another new series will be added to The Walking Dead Universe

Deadline is now reporting there will be a new cooking show developed by AMC. But, this is NO ordinary cooking show. AMC and Complex Networks join forces in a series that will combine The Walking Dead and First We Feast. The series is titled Run the Dish and will feature apocalypse-themed food.

The series will feature TWDU talent and celebrity chefs. There is no word on the specific cast members, but this sounds so amazing it won’t really matter who will be featured.

This is a new frontier for AMC as they are looking for cross-platform projects. If it involves cast members of  TWDU, the fandom will show up for this!

We will keep you posted as more information for Run the Dish becomes available.
