Could The Walking Dead’s beloved Kingdom Duo become a trio?!

When King Ezekiel and Jerry entered The Walking Dead TV series in season 7, they immediately had a cute and lovable friendship. This is a duo that brings smiles with whatever they do. When fans got a chance to see Khary Payton and Cooper Andrews behind the scenes, it was obvious that the reason their characters work so well is that the actors have a seriously adorable bromance.
The fandom can tell this is an incredibly wholesome friendship and will be for years to come regardless of sharing the screen. Currently, COVID has made things tricky for the cast, and the direction of the story has made things tricky for the on-screen friendship these two have. Now the cast and crew have to wear masks and take extra caution when filming to be safe. So no cute, huggable photos like fans have seen before.
King Ezekiel was recently featured in season 10, episode 20, where fans got a chance to see Khary play a part in Princess’s hallucinations. While the episode is phenomenal, the behind-the-scenes content caused just as much happiness as the episode itself. King Ezekiel and Princess are kindred spirits, it’s obvious from the second they meet, and Ezekiel smiles that they have a connection. However, behind-the-scenes teasers and even Talking Dead show that it’s not just character deep.
Khary Payton and Paola Lázaro also share a connection. Unfortunately, Jerry has not shared scenes with Princess, so fans haven’t got a chance to geek out over any cute photos of these two yet. With how inviting and welcoming Khary, Cooper, Jerry, and the King are, it’s clear that these three would quickly turn into the three musketeers if given a chance! If Princess had arrived with Rick Grimes many seasons ago, the Kingdom is clearly the place she would have felt most at home.
The Walking Dead TV series has created beautiful, long-lasting friendships among cast members, and this new addition could form a powerful trio!
It’s unclear when COVID will take a back seat and also unclear if there will ever be a time when Princess will meet Jerry simply because of time and location. What is clear is that these three people are cut from the same cloth. Even Jerry’s amazing wife Nabila would welcome Princess with open arms.
Viewers can keep their fingers crossed in the meantime that even future content within The Walking Dead universe, like the upcoming Tales of The Walking Dead series, could have a few episodes of this trio together. As season 11 is filming, and vaccines for COVID are being distributed, there is also a chance the fandom gets cute behind-the-scenes photos of them together to hold them over!
