The Walking Dead: Season 10 Episode 1022 Here’s Negan – fans react

The Walking Dead gave us an amazing look at Negan’s back story. “Here’s Negan” was the final bonus episode in season 10c which wrapped up the LONG tenth season.

The tenth season of the series encountered many obstacles but have overcome them, and now we are on to the eleventh and final season of the series. Season eleven will premiere on AMC on August 22. This is a bittersweet moment for fans as they are excited to see what this season will bring, but the reality that the series will end has also hit home.

The final bonus episode has received high praise. After seeing views tank with the other bonus episode, “Here’s Negan,” saw a huge spike in viewership. This is due to the popularity of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his wife, Hilaire, who played his on-screen wife and weapons namesake, Lucille. The twosome is wildly popular with The Walking Dead fans, but each has their own fanbase from other projects they’ve been involved in.

The scene with Carol and Negan, and the rabbit was timely since the episode aired on Easter. This left things wide open for many Easter-themed posts.

Fans were also excited about the fact that we did get a release date for season eleven. Although this is five months away, we will at least have Fear The Walking Dead to tide us over. There is also the possibility of World Beyond’s second season being released during this time as well.

Fans were excited to see Hilarie Burton Morgan’s portrayal of Lucille. Until this episode, we had only heard a small amount of information about her in the series. Burton Morgan did an outstanding job with this character and fans were here for it.

Negan loved both of his Lucille’s, and when he was reunited with the weapon, the look on his face was priceless. But, is that something that should concern us?

When Lucille yelled this at the radio we all felt that mood!

We knew some of the story regarding Negan and his cheating, as he ‘confessed’ this to Father Gabriel, but we didn’t know he was out with his side piece while she received the horrible news of her cancer diagnosis.

This comment right here really made fans think. Laura (Lindsley Register) made an appearance in this episode and she was the one to give Negan his bat. Not only that, she took Negan out with it first. If you think back, Laura was also respectful of Negan, but she was never scared of him like so many other Saviors were.

This is something many viewers expressed. I don’t think many are ready to forgive him, but viewers have some understanding of what made him snap.
