Garrett Dillahunt stars in the new Zach Snyder film, Army of the Dead. The official trailer has been released, and we get a glimpse of his character, Frank Peters. This film combines the heist genre with a zombie apocalypse.

Dillahunt is familiar with filming in an apocalyptic setting as he portrayed John Dorie in The Walking Dead spinoff, Fear The Walking Dead. Sadly, his character has met his demise, but now fans can see him in this new project.

The city of Las Vegas has been walled up, and an enormous horde of zombies are behind those walls. But, there is also a vault in one of the casinos filled with a large sum of cash. Frank Peters meets up with Scott Ward (Dave Bautista) and his crew, and they will attempt to head into the city to retrieve this prize.

The latest project Dillahunt is involved in isn’t a far stretch from his work in Fear TWD. Army of the Dead is also set in an apocalyptic setting. In the trailer, we see Dillahunt’s character, Frank, when a new kind of zombie is revealed. This is a tiger zombie, and Frank’s response “That’s crossing the line.”

Dillahunt has been in many films and shows throughout his career. He known for his work on Burn Notice, Raising Hope, Justified and Deadwood. He has had supporting roles in films such as No Country for Old Men, Winter’s Bone, Looper and 12 Years a Slave. His Fear The Walking Dead character, John Dorie, was an instant favorite in that series.

He has upcoming projects of The Long Home, Blonde, and Ambulance listed on his IMDB page.
