3) Bad Things For Bad Reasons = Bad People

What was easily the biggest swerve in this week’s episode (Maybe the entire season) was discovering that it was Dakota who killed Cameron earlier in the season, not only that, but that she also did it for an idiotic reason: Because he was going to tell on her to her sister Virginia, and stop her from sneaking out.

To make matters worse, when John discovered this, Dakota (Despite John telling her he was going to devote himself to mentoring her, even in spite of what she did) shot John square in the chest and then shoved him into a river!

It wasn’t like she panicked — I mean, she kind of did — because, after shooting John, rather than try to help him or call Morgan, she callously walked up to him and shoved him off of the bridge into the river below. It was, frankly, chilling, watching Dakota walk up to John and push him like toppling a Jenga tower.

The reason I’m talking about this is that, let’s face it, you’re probably going to have to do things that are a little unsavory in a zombie apocalypse. I think if we’re all being honest with ourselves, we know this coming in. However, if you’re violent with people, not to defend yourself or your group, but for stupid, pointless, ridiculous, or (In Dakota’s case) petty reasons, you’re just a bad person. Period.

I guess the question becomes: What kind of person do you want to be?
