Fear The Walking Dead, The Door: Things To Note

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!

The second half of season six of Fear The Walking Dead has begun, and, boy, did it start well! I can honestly say that this has been one of my favorite episodes of Fear in a very long time.

To begin with, it followed a very emotional journey for one of the show’s best characters, John Dorie, with him literally going from one end of the spectrum to the other: From wanting to die to wanting to live, and in the end, getting what he originally wanted, in one of the best deaths across the entire Walking Dead universe.

I know I’ve often railed against the whole “someone has to die at every premiere/finale episode”-thing that has been going on since at least season four of The Walking Dead. But, this was one of the best instances of that being done well, with John’s death coming as a surprise and teasing us with him possibly squeezing out of it, only to have that hope pulled out from under us at the last minute.

Because the events of last week’s Fear The Walking Dead were so huge, I had to do a special Things To Note to catch everything else. Care to join me?
