Jeffrey Dean Morgan gets birthday wishes from around the globe

The Walking Dead series recently wrapped up its extended 10th season with the episode “Here’s Negan.” It was an origin story of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), and fans loved it and want to see him in his own spin-off.

Fans would like to see the time period between when “Here’s Negan” ends following through to when we meet him on The Walking Dead series. Perhaps this is something that could be done with the new spinoff Tales of The Walking Dead. This series is being touted as an anthology series that could focus on any number of TWDU characters in the past, present or future.

Only time will tell if anything will come of the talks about a Negan series, and luckily we have 24 episodes left in The Walking Dead series to see what will happen now that Negan has moved back into Alexandria.

Today is Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s birthday, and fans, cast and crew have taken to social media to make sure he knows how much he loved and how much everyone appreciates his work on The Walking Dead. I inadvertently hashtagged with National JDM day and was quickly reminded that it is International, as he has fans around the globe.

Happiest of Birthday wishes go out to Jeffrey Dean Morgan today.

We start with his wife, Hilarie Burton Morgan’s amazing Instagram post. She says they have been through everything, which now includes an apocalypse. She is referencing, of course, her role as Negan’s wife Lucille in the “Here’s Negan” episode. I wonder what kind of cake she baked him?

Norman Reedus and Morgan met before Morgan joined the cast of The Walking Dead. For his happy birthday post, Reedus posted a photo of the two of them while on a road trip to Nashville. If memory serves, this was the trip that fans set up a sort of welcome in each of the small towns they passed through.

Khary Payton wished Gus’ pop a happy birthday. Morgan’s son Gus will have a cameo spot in season 11, episode 5 where he plays a walker and has spent much time around the set during the filming of the bonus episodes. He seems to have made an impression on Payton.

Many of the media pages for The Walking Dead also wished him a happy birthday.

Morgan has become quite the fan favorite for all he does for fans. Recently he has been stopping by the Georgia Tour Company and Water Tower Tours when fans are touring filming sites. These random appearances have made fans extremely happy they were in the right place at the right time.
