Fear the Walking Dead: The Holding teaser introduces new group

Fear the Walking Dead season six has been nothing but exciting. This series has taken a turn, and the creators have been giving us outstanding storylines with many twists, turns and unexpected events.

In the previous episode, “Handle with Care,” we left the group with many questions regarding Daniel’s health. Is his memory loss for real this time? Or, is it another fake out? The group is also trying to figure out some common ground in dealing with the group who have been painting “The End is the Beginning” on everything. Are they a major threat or not?

In the official teaser for the upcoming episode “The Holding,” we will, in fact, meet this new group. We see the same spray-painted words on a wall in the teaser, presumably in that group’s home. This group lives underground, which explains why Morgan and the gang haven’t been able to find them.

Who is the new underground group that we will meet in The Holding?

This new group, the Doomsday Group, is lead by the character Teddy (John Glover). They live underground, and from what we see in the teaser, they have some very advanced living quarters and are into some really creepy stuff.

In the teaser, we also see newcomer Riley (Nick Stahl), who looks to be showing Alicia and the others around the community. It looks as though Riley is interviewing Alicia and Luciana. He states, “I don’t think you were ever in a place like this.” We can only guess what he means by that comment. In the sneak peek, we see a bit more of this conversation where he explains that there has never been a place like this.

They seem to be a well-established community with food, water, and power, but that teaser shows a lot of commotion, and Alicia isn’t buying whatever Teddy is selling.

I, for one, am ready for this next episode to find out more about the Doomsday Group!

Fear the Walking Dead returns to AMC with this new episode on Sunday, May 2.
