Robert Kirkman’s Amazon series Invincible has met with outstanding reviews by critics and fans. The series is based on his comic of the same name and currently has seven episodes available to stream via Amazon Prime.

The series features voice talents of Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Gillian Jacobs, Mark Hamill, Seth Rogan, Jason Mantzoukas, Walton Goggins and Zachary Quinto, to only name a FEW of the actors involved. The cast also features a large portion of the voice talents from Walking Dead actors. In addition to Yeun, we also hear the voices of Khary Payton, Lauren Cohan, Chad Coleman, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James, Ross Marquand and Sonequa Martin-Green.

In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Kirkman stated that he couldn’t think of a Walking Dead actor he wouldn’t want to work with once again, and working with any of those actors on Invincible is a possibility. The addition of more Walking Dead voices would delight fans of the series.

Will Invincible be renewed for a second season on Amazon?

With the HUGE success of Invincible, this series will likely be renewed for a second season. Fans are eager to see more of the series as it is such a wonderfully done animated series. The colorful imagery and the graphic violence are almost a contradiction of one another, but the concepts are brilliantly melded.

***After this article was published Robert Kirkman announced that the series has been renewed for a 2nd season by Amazon.

Bleeding Cool has reported that the Invincible comic has sold over 100,000 copies in 2021 alone. The popularity of the series has sparked viewers’ interest in the comic as well. Kirkman ended the comic with issue #144, and the double final issue was released in February 2018.

If you have yet to check out the series, you can get a glimpse of what to expect from the official trailer.
