Fear The Walking Dead, The Holding: Things To Note

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!

FINALLY! WE’VE GOTTEN TO THE BEGINNERS IN FEAR THE WALKING DEAD!

I can’t say how happy I am that we have reached the point where Morgan’s group has met up with the weirdos tagging everywhere with the slogan “The End Is The Beginning” (Hence, why I call them “The Beginners”), and it was, pretty much, what I’d been hoping for.

The Beginners, while seeming very nice and friendly, gave off a subtle creepy vibe because, like all cults, they seem just a little…detached from everything, their cheeriness makes it seem like they’re oblivious to just how screwed up the world outside of their base really is. As we’d learn, they managed to rope in someone really close to someone in Morgan’s group (Always a good way to earn heat). Of course, like any good Walking Dead villains, we also saw their veneer of hospitality disintegrate and be replaced with a callous, violent streak. And, finally, we met their leader, Teddy, who, despite not once threatening anyone or even raising his voice, gave off an air of genuine menace. All-in-all, exactly what you want in a group of villains.

We’ve finally met the mysterious cult in Fear The Walking Dead, but for all their mysteries, check out this week’s Things To Note!

These things were all, quite frankly, obvious. With the episode revolving entirely around Alicia, Althea, Luciana, and Wes meeting The Beginners, it stands to reason that everything I just mentioned would be revealed. That being said, that’s not what Things To Note is for; It’s not for the obvious stuff, but rather all of the details, hints, clues, and references that can easily get overlooked or forgotten in the first viewing. This is why I gathered everything I could find to collect here, so you don’t have to go looking!
