Jeffrey Dean Morgan gets a new addition to his family (his fur family)

Fans of The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his family know a lot about what goes on at his Mischief Farm in upstate New York. He often shows photos of new animals and other things going on around the farm. It is a fun look into the personal life of a family that is near and dear to TWD Family. Today he shared a wonderful photo of the newest addition to the farm.

In the caption, he explains that Princess and Loretta, who are donkeys, by the way, had a baby, and he goes on to state that their farm is very progressive. Morgan’s own princess, his daughter George, promptly named the new addition George. Which Morgan never had a doubt that is the name she would choose.

Fans were very responsive to his tweet. They shared messages of congratulations and about how adorable that little story is, and some even show off their own animals. One fan asked Morgan if his son Gus had anything to say in the naming of the newborn. He replied:

"It was George’s turn. And Gus doesn’t care about that kinda stuff. George is the animal whisperer, Gus is the movie/video game kid. We have a little bit of everything going on here!"

On the website for Mischief Farms, you can see a lot of photos of the farm and some information about the animals they raise. There is also a cute story about a conversation they had on their first date. They asked one another about what they would like to do in the future. They both answered, “to live and raise a family on a farm.” That dream has come true for the couple and their family.

Hilarie Burton Morgan has penned a book, The Rural Diaries, chronicling their journey from Hollywood to life on the farm with her husband and family. In the book, she shares much about their lives and what it takes to run a farm. She also shares some great recipes you can make in your own home.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan will return to AMC when The Walking Dead premieres its eleventh and final season on August 22, 2021. Morgan was fortunate to have his wife join him in an episode of the series, and in season eleven, his son, Gus, will play a walker in the fifth episode.
