6) In all the times we’ve seen people drive large vehicles (RVs, tractor-trailers, the MRAP, etc.) in The Walking Dead universe, this episode marks the first time that we’ve seen a walker actually get themselves wedged into said vehicle.

7) John Sr. reveals two new details about Teddy: First, that his full name is Teddy Maddox, and second, that, before his arrest, he was a mortician.

8) John Sr. also confirms that the serial killer John mentioned to Rabbi Kessner back in Lawton in “The Key” IS the leader of The Beginners. Now, where have I heard that before…?

9) The fact John Sr.’s life spiraled out of control after being declared a hero for doing something he felt was wrong is the same tragedy that would befall John Jr. both before the outbreak and after being taken in by the Pioneers (As seen in season four’s “Laura,” and this season’s “The Key,” respectively).

10) As June and John Sr. head for the cabin, they run into a walker that’s been both embalmed and half burnt. This is clearly a walker which escaped the Holding, as it was obviously one of the people Teddy deemed unworthy of being a “poster” and hung in the room Alicia set on fire. How it escaped the blaze, and the Holding is still a mystery, though.
