This week’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead seemed to be all about swerves. It seemed like every time someone turned around, there was some twist that completely changed their circumstances, both for the better and the worse.

Seeing this made me realize how, if we were to find ourselves in a zombie apocalypse, we could wind up completely blindsided by countless things that we simply weren’t expecting and be left totally vulnerable, either by the surprises we face or by missing out on the unexpected opportunities these surprises might bring.

So, for this week’s Survival Rule Of The Week, I’ve decided it’s time we take a look at how things in a zombie apocalypse might not always be as they seem, both so you can avoid getting ambushed and also so can recognize a golden opportunity when it’s dropped right in front of you.
