2) Hordes Of Zombies Can Hide Behind Almost Anything.

Zombies, even large groups of them, have the amazing ability to be stealthy, even if they don’t have the intelligence to be so consciously.

Think back to the very first episode of The Walking Dead. Do you remember why Rick needed Glenn’s help in the first place? It was because, while trying to follow a helicopter (Possibly from the Civic Republic Military), he turned down a street and ran into a huge herd of walkers.

You might think that would only happen in something like a movie or a TV show, but even in a real zombie apocalypse, something like that is perfectly possible.

Think about it: There’s nothing that says zombies must make noise, and if they only move when they see or hear something to eat, then, when there’s no one around, they might literally stand around until a person comes by and then go on the attack.

This means that, for all you know, once the apocalypse hits, large numbers of zombies could be waiting for you on the next street over, in seemingly abandoned buildings. We saw an example of this on last week’s episode of Fear, in the fields and the woods, just requiring you to pass by or make some noise for them to get drawn towards you.

Because of this, you need to learn to be as inconspicuous as possible. Try to avoid the obvious paths, don’t take the main drags if you can avoid it, and most importantly (Because this is the one you can control the most), don’t make a lot of noise. While we might guess as to the ability of zombies to see you, it’s almost a guarantee that they’ll be able to hear you, so keep the noise to a minimum; besides, even if the dead couldn’t hear you, the living damn sure will.

Speaking of which…
