Fear The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week: The Hidden Threat

4) Hostiles May Have Even Bigger Plans Than You Suspect.
While It became pretty clear early on that The Beginners were not friendly, it was also obvious that none of the groups in Texas (Morgan’s group, the Pioneers, the Outcasts, etc.) were truly aware of just how dangerous they were.
There was a hint with their use of biological warfare against the Civic Republic, but, even with that, no one seemed to realize the magnitude of threat Teddy and his minions posed.
That has changed now that Alicia learned Teddy plans to use a nuclear weapon to wipe out, at least, everyone in Texas, and who knows how many more.
That is the scariest thing about hostiles in a zombie apocalypse: You don’t know just how ambitious their evil might be. As bad as it might be for them to plan to launch violent raids against all nearby groups, or even to unleash a massive horde of zombies against them, compared to ones who plan to use something like chemical or even nuclear weapons, it’s small potatoes.
You may have run-ins with local hostiles, and while they’d certainly prove dangerous, you might not think them that threatening; all the while, they may be planning on launching an attack that you and your group would have the ability to neither escape from nor defend against.
The best thing I can tell you is to never underestimate hostiles in the zombie apocalypse. No matter how feeble they may seem, they may have an ace up their sleeve that you never saw coming. It’s better to stay on your toes until you know their threat is eliminated.
