13) This episode gets its name from, among other things, the first thing Teddy says upon opening his “Mother’s” casket: “Hello Mother.” However, it also gets its name from the fact not only does Alicia, apparently, remind Teddy of his mother, but also the fact that he clearly intends Alicia to become the “mother” of the new world he wants to create, planning to leave her in charge of all the people he’s left behind.

14) This episode marks Cole’s first appearance in Fear since the season four midseason finale, “No One’s Gone.”

15) While on the way to the auto repair garage, Dakota begins questioning Teddy about his time in prison and why he was there. As the two talk, and Teddy questions Dakota about the people she’d killed, and if she knew them, she replies: “One of them more than the others.Since we only have confirmation of her killing Cameron and John, is this Dakota subtly hinting at a higher body count that we don’t know about?

16) During the confrontation between Cole and Alicia, Doug and Viv are killed by walkers, making them officially twenty-fifth and twenty-sixth named characters to die this season. However, they could be bumped to twenty-seventh and twenty-eighth if we learn the names of George’s other two guards.

17) Cole is the twenty-seventh (Possibly twenty-ninth) named character to die this season and the first living person Alicia’s killed since the killing of The Vultures back in season four’s “The Wrong Side Of Where You Are Now.”

18) Doug and Viv are also the eleventh and twelfth named characters to turn this season behind George and Hayes. Much with their deaths, they could be bumped up if the identities of George’s other guards are ever revealed.

19) Considering that Teddy’s attempt at biological warfare against the Civic Republic failed, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that his next step would be to literally “go nuclear” as a last resort.

20) Much like the previous week’s episode, this week’s AMC+ Episode Insider features a preview for the following episode.
