In an interview with Kirsten Acuna of Insider, Ian Goldberg, co-showrunner of Fear the Walking Dead, says the seventh season of the series isn’t the end as far as he knows. With the Walking Dead’s flagship series and the second spin-off, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, both in their final seasons, it’s a valid question. Insider also said that AMC does not have any renewal news to share for Fear TWD.

Sunday, June 13, Fear the Walking Dead will air its season 6 finale on AMC. Many fans have already viewed this episode via AMC+ or some bootlegged copies that were spread around beforehand. This episode was also spoiled for many fans as people who watched early just couldn’t stand not telling what happened.

The sixth season of Fear TWD has given the series new life. With intriguing storylines and characters and many surprises, this season gave viewers something exciting to watch.

Fear the Walking Dead season 7 and beyond

The season six finale will greatly alter what will happen going forward. I won’t spoil anything here but if you watched yet, prepare yourself. This episode has a lot to unpack. I had to watch more than once to really let myself take it all in.

Fear the Walking Dead has dished out a lot of heartbreak during this season, and at times fans have really had a hard time dealing with the losses. With characters like Dakota and Virginia mucking things up and don’t get me started on Strand, viewers have been on an emotional roller coaster from the beginning of the season.

Moving into the seventh season, things will change, yet again and it’s anyone’s guess as to what that will look like. If it keeps on the same course of the current season, it can only get better.

If you haven’t already, watch AMC on Sunday, June 13 for the season six finale of Fear the Walking Dead.
