1) This episode’s “Previously” recap focuses on Alicia’s reuniting with Dakota, as well as Teddy revealing his plans to Alicia (And imprisoning her in the fallout shelter) in “Mother,” and John Dorie, Sr.’s warning to Morgan about Teddy in “J.D..”

2) When talking with Teddy, Dakota notes that despite his admiration for her, that it was Alicia that he put in the bunker and not her. Teddy praises Dakota for being like him, but is he subtly saying that Dakota isn’t “good enough” for his new world?

3) While talking to Teddy, Dakota says that she didn’t feel comfortable “In any of [Virginia’s] places.” Had Virginia been constantly moving Dakota around? Why? Was it because she kept killing people, and Virginia needed to get her out of dodge?

4) As Riley preps the ship, he reveals his job prior to the outbreak: Weapons Officer aboard the U.S.S. Pennsylvania.

5) After Teddy reveals the keys to Riley, Dakota chuckles, noting the irony of the importance of keys to Teddy, considering Virginia’s obsession with them (In the Pioneers’ lapels, for example).
