Fear The Walking Dead, USS Pennsylvania: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
11) This episode gets its name from (Surprise, surprise), the ship it takes place on The U.S.S. Pennsylvania.
12) After Morgan breaks away from everyone with Strand, they find a radioactive walker of one of Teddy’s followers. Did he end up killing them all with radiation? Why not have them guarding the weapons room or something like that? Why waste them?
13) Following that first Beginner walker, Morgan and Strand come upon a room giving off massive amounts of radiation and filled with walkers. Were all of those walkers Teddy’s disciples?
14) Okay, what the hell was Strand’s plan? Betray Morgan, heroism, glory? As we saw when Morgan caught up to him, they couldn’t get inside the weapons room without an officer’s keycard…which Strand didn’t have. What, exactly, did he think he was going to do? Just stand there until Teddy was nice enough to open the door? For Strand, a guy who has always seemed to have a plan up his sleeve, this just seems…odd, maybe even out-of-character, because it’s so shortsighted. Seriously, even if one were to go with Strand trying to be the hero (The fact he tagged along with Morgan means he planned that) and him being bad at it, this lack of forethought or strategy from Strand just…doesn’t make any sense. I’m legit confused.
