5) There Will Be People Counting On You To Go On.

As this week’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead ended, we learned that Rufus had led Rachel and her daughter to someone: Morgan.

Just as Morgan and Grace were about to commit suicide, they heard baby Morgan crying. While saddened to see Rachel’s fate, Morgan sprang into action and was happy to discover that her baby had survived.

You see, sometimes, when things get bleak in the zombie apocalypse, you need a reason to keep going. You need purpose. Well, in that moment, Morgan had found his purpose: Baby Morgan. She needed someone to take care of her. She hadn’t even gotten a chance to live yet and needed someone to give her that chance, and Morgan decided to be the one to do it.

Sometimes, all we need to ensure that we haven’t reached our end is someone to make us realize that there is something worth going forward for, someone who you want to have succeed, and who you know needs your guidance to do it. Whether that person is our kids, our younger siblings, or maybe just someone who we’ve adopted as such, it doesn’t matter because they make us realize that, for them to have a chance to get through the apocalypse, we need to be the ones to provide them with that chance, and that the only way we can do that is by being there for them.

Sometimes, it’s the other way around, and we realize that others put their hope in us, who are making the sacrifices for our benefit so that we might make it through to see the better world that awaits us when the last zombie falls.

Whatever the case may be, some people are counting on us to make sure that we haven’t reached our end yet, and we need to find the strength to get to the future that they and we have waiting for us.
