The Walking Dead releases the first of 11 reveals leading up to season 11

AMC has decided to really get viewers excited for the eleventh and final season of The Walking Dead. They recently announced they would be rolling out 11 reveals leading up to the premiere of the season.

The reveals will be posted each Thursday starting June 17. These posts will contain something related to season 11 and include photos and trailers, or other peeks at the final season.

Starting July 15, there will also be deep dives into four TWD characters titled The Walking Dead: Origins in addition to the reveals. These specials will feature interviews, feature clips of the iconic moments in the characters’ lives, and narrations by the actors.

Daryl’s Story – Thursday, July 15

Maggie’s Story – Thursday, July 22

Negan’s Story – Thursday, July 29

Carol’s Story – Thursday, August 5

The Walking Dead 11 weeks of reveals until season 11

The first reveal features four exclusive photos from scenes that will air in season 11; you can see them in The Walking Dead on AMC’s tweet below.

The first photo shows a group of walkers on a subway car. Our group is definitely headed into a city at some point for this part of the story.

Second, we see a photo of Euguene, Yumiko, Ezekiel and Princess eating a table inside some fencing. It looks to be another holding cell which the soldiers who captured them have put them in. At least they are together, and the conversation looks intense.

The third photo shows Alden, Elijah, Cole, Maggie, Negan, Daryl, Dog and Father G. But, we also see C. Thomas Howell in the center, who on his IG bio has the word Reaper as one of his descriptive words.  There are at least 3 others who could also be reapers.

The final photo shows a sassy squad that consists of Carol, Kelly and Magna. Do you think these guys find Connie? Oh, I hope so!

So, there you have it. The first of the eleven reveals counting us down to The Walking Dead season 11 premiere on August 22 on AMC.
