Whether it’s Fear The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead, or Black Summer, it’s abundantly clear that firepower and medical research are the best weapons against any zombie apocalypse. Baltimore, Maryland, ranks very high in these categories, indicating it is a safe bet to park one’s keister when trying to survive a flesh-eating epidemic.

The city of Baltimore is no easy place to live and is known for having one of the highest crime rates in America. This would mean its police presence is strong and probably suggests there will be a lot of firearms, lying around once the mayhem begins as well as their most assuredly being no shortage of ammo.

Let’s just say when it comes to brute force and the ability to go toe-to-toe with hordes of zombies, Baltimore is looking pretty good. The forces from Fort Meade and Aberdeen alone would be very well-equipped to take on the undead, let alone any heavily armed private citizen.

They are also pretty set when it comes to finding a cure as a little place called John Hopkins University occupies a spot within its borders and would be an ideal location for anyone looking for a cure for a virus that causes one to crave flesh and brains. Baltimore may be a bit stingy in other categories, but their odds in the fight for the cure and survival aren’t bad at all.
