This episode shifted the focus from all the drama surrounding Virginia’s group to look at what is happening with Daniel. A strange series of events makes him question himself and his state of mind.
Plus, the rest of the group starts to wonder how much they can trust Daniel in his current situation. This includes Victor Strand, who might be up to something a little fishy by seeming suspicious to the group.

Thankfully, no named characters were lost in this episode. After a couple of huge blows to the show over the past installments of the show, it’s nice not to have to say goodbye to another talented member of the cast.
Other notable deaths
Even though he didn’t die, it felt like a death when Daniel essentially exiled himself from the group. Not being able to trust his own brain has him very concerned about his well-being and the well-being of others. Let’s hope he isn’t gone for too long.
