Fear the Walking Dead’s Sydney Lemmon will star in Firestarter reboot

Fear the Walking Dead’s Sydney Lemmon, who plays Isabelle in the series, has been cast in the Blumhouse reboot of the 80s classic Firestarter. Deadline is reporting that Lemmon is the most recent cast member to be added to the lineup.
Firestarter, the films, are based on a novel by Stephen King that was published in 1980 and has won multiple awards. The original film was released in 1984 and starred Drew Barrymore as Charlie, a child with pyrokinetic abilities that the governmental agency the Department of Scientific Intelligence, aka The Shop, wants to harness and weaponize. David Keith portrayed Charlie’s father, Andy, and her mother was played by Heather Locklear.
In the reboot, Lemmon will portray Victoria, who is Charlie’s (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) mother. Zac Efron has been cast as Andy McGee, Michael Greyeyes will portray Rainbird and Gloria Reuben has been cast in an undisclosed role.
Fear the Walking Dead’s season seven, will we see Isabelle?
Lemmon plays Isabelle, a pilot for the CRM on Fear the Walking Dead.
In the season six finale, Isabelle sent coordinates to Al, allowing her to fly her helicopter to save Luciana, Daniel, Sarah, Wes, Jacob and Charlie.
The last episode we have actually seen Isabelle was 505 “The End of Everything.” But, that hasn’t stopped Al from looking for her. They had quick radio contact when Al warned her of the outbreak in a building where Isabelle was supposed to land her helicopter in 603 “Alaska.”
Isabelle will be in the seventh season of the series but what her storyline will be is unknown. The CRM has great resources, and perhaps this group will help Morgan and his group, who have just experienced exposure to a nuclear explosion.
Lemmon is also known for her roles in the HULU/Marvel series Helstrom and Succession and Velvet Buzzsaw.

There has been no official announcement for the release of season 7 of Fear TWD, but it will be before the end of 2021.
